Technology or Family?

In Ray Bradbury short story , "The Veldt," there is a family conformed of four person that lived on a futuristic house the house made everything for them it even brush their teeth. But on this house there was a strange room called The Nursery. On the nursery they are walls with images that heir child's think but its very rare know the guys were only thinking of Africa and the nursery was too real so he parents closed it. The child's were so mad that they wished there parents dead. That night her mother heard screams on the nursery and went running to see but when they both enter the door closed and they were eaten by the lions of Africa. After that their child's were alone on this very technological house.

On the next example of imagery Bradbury makes us know what the characters feels.

"The hot straw smell of lion grass, the cool green smell of hidden waterhole the great rusty smell of animals, the smell of dust like a red paprika in the hot air.

This quote help us picture in our heads how was like Africa on the Savannah. It transmits us that information trough the sense of smell because he describes what the character is smelling.

Another thing on the story is this characterization qute hat helps us think what is the character like what he thinks or do.
"George, I wish you'd look at the nursery." "Whats wrong with it?" "I don't know" " I just want you to look at it, is all, or call a psychologist to look at it."

To close up this story told me that technology is ruined children minds and also its making like a family for the kids and they will not pay attention to her family.

Importance of family

Jonas community is getting a holiday and know Jonas went to see his friend Asher and Fiona so he went to the park. They were playing war games and Jonas thought it was a real war so he felled mad at Asher. When Jonas went to the Anex room the next day he started to wonder about the last receiver. Rosemary was the last receiver and she applied for release. Since the topic went on about release they starting discussing and after the giver showed Jonas the ceremony of release of the twins. Jonas get shocked after seeing that the release equals death. His father put the baby on a box and throw it away.
Jonas started to get sad and nervous and he decided to perform a plan to escape from the community. Jonas was planning to escape at the time of the ceremony and he planned very good. At the last he told the giver if he was going with him and the giver said that he would be with her daughter Rosemarie.
"But dont you want to be with me, giver?" "I love you Jonas but I have another place to go. When my work here is finished, I want to be with my daughter." " I didn't know you have a daughter Giver! "Her name was Rosemary,"The Giver Said.

Jonas is not longer living in the community and the Giver has teached Jonas most of the things he knows. This part of the book is very sad because each of both human beings that had been so close during the last month they are getting separated and go to his own path. One thing that is sad to is that The giver has given the community safety things and protected them by giving them nothing. The Giver wants to go with her daughter but her daughter is death and so will The Giver be if he wants to be with her daughter. These book has teached me that family is more important than anything and love is something humans need to be happy. Without a family and without family love live will be meaningful

Finally Im very curious of the ending of the book because I dont know if Jonas is going to do good on his escape. Maybe Jonas will g to our world like on the truman show maybe its all setup"again"
